Well, I'm not entirely sure that is true, but to be honest, I am doing everything I possibly can to test my hypothesis. Chocolate has become a staple in my diet. Yes, I know, it's emotional eating, but I am being selective in what I'm emotionally eating :)
It's the start of a new week and we're still waiting on news as to what next week will hold. It's always interesting, to say the least. We've had a really quiet week since I came back. Maybe I'm the good luck charm. Who knows? At any rate, we'll continue to push forward while I have the kids this week. They are certainly feeling the stress of all this uncertainty too. They keep asking questions to which I have no answers. If nothing else, they are learning that teachers do NOT have the answers for everything.
I've officially started my uni class for this semester. Granted, I'm behind in my reading but my first assignment, an observational task, is completed and submitted. The reading might need to wait for a while, as I need to get my personal teaching materials packed up this week in case we (staff) are not able to return to campus after Thursday. I'm trying to do so without making my classroom look barren and empty. We'll see how long I can leave it.
Yesterday, I went to Sale Sucre with a friend of mine. It was a nice diversion from the every day. Just getting out of my apartment this weekend was a hardship. However, I took time to exercise, socialize and in the end, I felt so much better. This week will be a busy one, I am sure, but I will make time for those same activities - exercise and socialization.
Nothing else to report, at this time. Will keep you posted as I learn more.
Staying safe,
Ty

Hi, Ty,
What a good combination of elements for healthy living - exercise, socializing and chocolate!
Thinking of you as you pack up your classroom and say goodbye to your students, friends and Damascus.
See you real soon!
Love, Lynn
