Annual Christmas Letter Part 2 is on hold - update instead

Hello loved ones,

Figured I'd drop an update.  I will eventually get the annual christmas letter part two completed.  You all need to hear how the surprise went down :)

Alrighty, so I'm back in Damascus.  Neither Ella nor Henry greeted me at the door when I arrived, but it wasn't long until after I was home that Ella came to see who was in her house.  When she realized it was her "person" it took her no time at all to snuggle up and be all "Oh, how I've missed you, person.  Please pick me up and hold me".  Today we've played many rounds of fetch.

Henry took a little longer to warm up to me.  About 45 minutes.  Then he was all about going to sleep and was quite comfortable snuggling right in for the night.

I've seen 5 out of 7 garden kitties and momma cat.  We'll see where the other two are.  Only being fed once a day has them all a little less plump than when I left, but they are all still super cute.  In my absence they have all seemed to become domesticated too - they ALL like to be pet.  Apparently they have adopted me, but I will be firm in my belief that i have not adopted them.

Kids are not coming back tomorrow.  Events of yesterday (check the news) mean we'll moodle this week and they will return next week.  That's the plan as of today.  We'll see what transpires tomorrow.

Love to you all,

Talk soon

Ty

Dear Tylene,
Thanks for the update. It will be really interesting to see how kids the age of your students take to "moodling". In addition to all the other recent changes in their lives. Look forward to to learning more about it and to your next update.
We just went for a long walk - 6 above on January 8! All predictions of a drought this year are so believable - guess we have to start paying attention to the global warming folks.
Stay safe!
Love, Lynn
