At any rate, the school year is drawing to a close. Last week was our last week with students. We had a great last week. Our field trip this year was to the bowling ally. It was a blast. It helps that i really like my students. They are such treasures. I set up a "miss tylene" email account and even though school's been out for less than a week, I have 2 or three emails daily from students. Sooo precious.
Things I learned this year - well, even though I don't always realize it, there are many ways that I make a difference in the lives of my students. I had so many parents who were so complimentary and genuinely thankful for having me as their child's teacher. I am so glad to have been able to have such a positive year this year with my class. It makes leaving on a good note so much easier.
Today the movers came, so I spent most of my weekend going through and identifying things that I would pack and things to throw away. There is a lot still here that I will be taking home, but I am sure I will be able to fit it into just 2 suitcases. It just looks like a lot right now. I also spent lots of time at the gym. Will train every day this week, in addition to my regular classes. I am super dooper sad to leave the gym and the fitness program I've started, but am getting some tips to keep things going for me when I'm home.
Tomorrow is the last official day of school. I have nothing really to do, just need to be there for 5 hours. It will be an interesting time. I have to collect 2 signatures and then I'll officially be signed off.
The rest of the week will be spent getting things finished up at home, getting last minute details set for the kitties - I met with the woman who will send them to Syria for me and am resting knowing that she and Rubi will be taking care of my kitties this summer. The rest of the week will be spent going for manicures, reflexology, a massage and a pedicure. I will be a pampered princess when I leave Kuwait, that is for darned sure.
At any rate, I will certainly keep up with blogs as I start my new job in Syria...just not sure if I should change the address...what do you think
Grover and I have had a really great time with each and every entry. The summer adventures will bring us to Saskatchewan for the duration. It will be a nice time and I am looking forward to spending time with friends and family. Until next time, I'll see you all soon :)

Hi, Ty,
One last comment before you arrive in Saskatchewan.Looking forward to seeing you.
I loved the name of your blog and I expect you will be just as creative and expressive with a new name for your blog from your new school in Syria!
Travel safe.
