Well, it's been a while since she let me off the white board and near anything that resembles a computer...good thing Tylene is in a good mood. Must be a result of having her voice back...or maybe it's the fun at Thanksgiving on the weekend...who knows.
At any rate, it is I, Grover writing to you today. Please keep in mind that at any moment Tylene could return, thus banishing me from the computer, yet again. If such an even occurred, I'd be left hanging on the white board looking out at all the fun that children get to have when they are not stuck to a white board. hmmm, must type fast.
So, I guess one good thing about being on the white board is that the acoustics are great. I have had a front row seat to the return of Tylene's voice. It's been a week and for the most part we're on the right track. From time to time you can tell that her voice is tired, but it's really great to hear her talk again. Soon I hope to hear her sing.
Today Tylene is suffering from PTT...post turkey tiredness. Last night was the TFC...Thanksgiving Feast of the Century. Steph and Tylene hosted dinner for 29 adults and 3 children. What a wonderful party it was. The food was amazing (so I've been told...I don't have a tongue to actually taste things), as was the company. Now, Tylene did spend a lot of time hiding in the kitchen, but she had a good time while hiding in the kitchen. It was a great event. Steph and Tylene even talked about the reality that have a big swaray doesn't need to wait until a special occasion...having such an event would be fun just for the sake of getting together.
School is going well. Tylene is glad for a three day week with students. Grover is glad for a three day week with students...two whole days without kids poking and stretching my arms...loverly. Wednesday and Thursday will be PYP training. Not sure if Tylene will allow me to go too...doesn't seem to every be room for a little blue Muppett for such occasions.
Well, i suppose I'd best be off. It is nearing the end of the lunch and I think I just heard Tylene's voice...best be off this thing before she comes in a deletes it.
Glad to have had a chance to chat...it's a lonely world for Grover when he can't stay in touch with his peeps.
Love and Thanksgiving!!!

Hi, you two,
Hurrah!! So glad you have recovered your own voice! Grover, you make sure Tylene doesn't use it too much, even though I know you could run the classroom yourself. Singing can wait a bit longer.
Impressive - turkey feast for 32 people! It's a good thing you had experience from last year. How did you accommodate 32 people in your apartment? Have you noticed that children take up at least as much space as adults, due to the fact that, even though they're smaller, they have higher energy levels?
We had eaten turkey on two successive weekends - at our Fowl Supper and at the Fowl Supper in the nieghbouring town - so I promised G that we wouldn't eat turkey again at Thanksgiving. I could get away with it because the 'boys' were either with their inlaws or doing something else. So we three went to Red Lobster for 'endless' shrimp. We came home for pumpkin pie with whipped cream and melted honey, though.
Enjoy your warm clime there - winter is coming here soon. But with winter comes Christmas, right?!
Lots of love, Lynn
Hey cousin - so glad to hear your voice is returning! you must feel like shouting the good news from the rooftops... well, don't be doing that, eh? Saw your mom briefly today, managed to pawn off some tomatoes on her, 400 lb harvest a bit excessive even for the QCB, LOL. Will write soon, take care
