Living the Dream

Well, I've been home for six whole sleeps (and a few naps) and it's great to be home.  Although I haven't been up to much this week, it has been nice to get reacquainted with Saskatchewan.  The pink blossoms of the apple tree in the back yard were in full bloom when I arrive.  I got home just in the nick of time as they are already starting to fall from the tree.

Evenings have been spent hanging out with mom.  It's been loverly to catch up and spend time together.  Tomorrow I will make my first road trip - heading to Saskatoon for a haircut and get some snazzy new highlights.

I've also started to mentally prepare for August in Edmonton.  There will be many things on the to-do list that I need to achieve before I head for school.  I've ordered my first textbook and it should arrive with enough time for me to get my pre-class assignment finished.  I will hopefully be able to get a list of required books for the fall as well, so as to order them before I leave.

Not much else to report, other than it's great to be home.  I am looking forward to a relaxing summer - in between cooking at camp, going to conferences and three weeks at school.

Will keep you posted as the summer unfolds.  Talk to you soon,

Tylene
