G & T in Amsterdam...the pictures (well, a few of them!)

First, my kitties...
Meet Ella. She is the princess of the house...much to Henry's chigrin! Although Henry is twice Ella's size, she will frequently "attack" him while he is sleeping! He is very tolerant of this little monster!

Ella likes to hide...in cabinets, under the table, in blankets...doesn't matter where, but hide and go seek is the best game ever!

Henry is shy, to say the least. It's not surprising his eyes are closed...they are often closed. He's deep in thought!
This is Henry's chair...until Ella decides that she belongs here. Poor Henry will often be sleeping when, out of nowhere, he'll be attacked by the little turd. Like I said, he could squash her like a bug, but is so nice to her.

Welcome to Amsterdam...

A loverly little place for a perfect picture at the Rijksmuseum. It's beautiful during fall when everything is starting to change...imagine in the spring time.

I thought this was the prettiest thing...stuffed into this bush, almost as though it belonged there, was this rose. It was such a stark contrast to the leaves that were starting to turn and fall...but so beautiful!
And that was my first trip to Amsterdam!!! Just wait until Christmas, when all I will do is be a sightseer. I may need to find an easier way to display all those photos!
Lots of love coming your way...

Hi, Ty: I enjoyed (and envied) your travelogue about Amsterdam. Do you have your skates with you for your trip in December? No mention of chocolate - are you being super strong willed or it that one of the edited bits?! Your Mom was here very briefly for Susan's birthday supper and then they went to a play at Persephone. She's back tonight on her way to Banff for a conference. I hear that Michael has reclaimed some of his furniture for their new house. How exciting for you - you have the perfect reason to buy all new when you return! No snow here yet. I for one am looking forward to it. The world is much prettier under a snow blanket and it will look more ready for Christmas! Lots of love, L

I was actually quite restrained in the Chocolate department, only partaking on the goodness via the chocolate store in the airport on the way home. However, there will be many more opportunities to indulge as I head back in December...Three weeks, four days until holidays...but who is counting???

Hi Tylene,
What beautiful pictures! I think that snow is really over-rated! The problem is that it comes with the cold ;)
